Sim scam taking your phone number
Has anyone heard about a sim scam where your phone number is hijacked by scammers contacting your network provider with enough information to steal your sim? This bypasses 2 step authentication. This allows them to then access bank accounts and move funds without your knowledge.

I have heard of this scam but I thought they were just using your phone for free as opposed to hacking into your bank.
